Guided tour exhibition ‘Barbarians and Philosophers: the Image of China in the Golden Age’
The committee East-West invites all members for a guided tour of the exhibition Barbarians and Philosophers: the Image of China in the Golden Age in the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem.
Two of the organisers of the exhibition will be your guide: Trude Dijkstra, PhD student at the UvA, and Lennert Gesterkamp, postdoc at the UU and both members of the research team of Prof. Thijs Weststeijn (UU) in the project The Chinese Impact: Images and ideas of China in the Dutch Golden Age.
Programme
The tour starts at 13:00. We meet at the front desk of the museum.
Entrance to the museum is € 12,50, museum pass free. From the train station Haarlem CS it is a 20 minute walk.
